This page describes the Firebase-era platform or a migration step that has completed. It is kept as history and is not a current runbook. The current platform is described from the home page.

Purpose: Validate that the code implementation produces UI matching the 48 PNG reference designs before deployment.

Status: Pre-Deployment Validation Date: February 10, 2026 Reviewed Designs: All 48 screens from documentation/layout/

5. Animation & Interactions

Hover States (All Interactive Elements)

  • Buttons: 0.3s ease transition, box-shadow glow effect (provider accent color)
  • Cards: Transform: translateY(-4px), border opacity increase, slight scale
  • Links: Color shift to provider accent, 0.2s ease
  • Inputs: Border color to provider accent on focus, background opacity increase

Transitions

  • Duration: 0.2s (quick), 0.3s (standard), 0.5s (slow animations)
  • Easing: ease, ease-out, cubic-bezier(0.4, 0, 0.2, 1)

Visual Effects

  • Blur Effect: backdrop-filter blur(10px) on glassmorphic cards
  • Glow on Hover: box-shadow: 0 0 20px rgba(accent, 0.4) (provider-specific)
  • Gradient Backgrounds: Linear gradients for backgrounds and text highlights

Pattern 1: Provider Landing Page

Current Implementation Status

✅ Implemented

  • Design System CSS (src/index.css): Provider theme variables, glassmorphism classes
  • Header Component (src/components/shared/Header.jsx): Navigation, provider context, active route highlighting
  • Footer Component (src/components/shared/Footer.jsx): Dark theme, consistent styling
  • HomePage (src/pages/shared/HomePage.jsx): Hero, provider grid, features, CTAs
  • App.jsx: Header/Footer mounting, route structure

⚠️ Partial/Scaffolding

  • All other 47 pages: Exist as placeholders, need implementation to match design patterns
  • No page currently renders glassmorphic cards with provider-specific styling
  • No complex layouts (grids, featured sections, sidebar layouts)
  • No animations or hover effects implemented
  • No form components with glass styling

  • Individual page layouts matching specific patterns above
  • Firestore integration for dynamic content
  • Interactive elements (filters, sorting, modals)

Pre-Deployment Validation Checklist

Visual Design Validation

Global/Header/Footer

  • Header is sticky and visible on all pages
  • Provider accent color displayed in header (orange, blue, red, purple, gray, or green)
  • Header navigation links are working and highlight active route
  • Footer contains all expected links and copyright
  • Dark background color (#0a0f1a) consistent across all pages
  • All text is readable on dark background

Typography

  • All page titles use large, bold text (48-64px, weight 700)
  • Provider accent color applied to specific keywords in titles
  • Body text is readable at standard size (14-16px)
  • Section headings use semibold weight (600)
  • Monospace text used for code snippets
  • Line height is appropriate (1.2 for headings, 1.6 for body)

Glassmorphism & Cards

  • All cards have semi-transparent background (rgba(255,255,255,0.05))
  • All cards have blur effect (backdrop-filter: blur(10px))
  • All cards have subtle border (1px, rgba(255,255,255,0.1))
  • All cards have rounded corners (12px)
  • Card hover state lifts card (translateY(-4px))
  • Card hover state increases border opacity

Spacing & Layout

  • Container has max-width of ~1400px
  • Desktop layouts use 3-column grids
  • Grid gap is 24px on desktop, 16px on mobile
  • Section padding is 80px on desktop, 40px on mobile
  • Cards have 32px internal padding on desktop
  • Margin below sections is 120px on desktop

Buttons & Interactive Elements

  • Primary buttons use provider accent color
  • Primary buttons have gradient background
  • Primary buttons glow on hover (box-shadow with provider color)
  • Secondary buttons have outline style with provider accent border
  • All buttons have 0.3s ease transition
  • Links change color to provider accent on hover

Animations

  • Loading states show appropriate feedback

Responsive Design Validation

Desktop (1200px+)

  • 3-column layouts render correctly
  • Spacing and padding appropriate for large screens
  • Header navigation fully visible
  • Sidebar content (if any) displays beside main content

Tablet (768px-1199px)

  • 2-column layouts render correctly
  • Content doesn't overflow
  • Touch-friendly spacing on interactive elements
  • Header navigation adapted or hamburger menu visible

Mobile (< 768px)

  • 1-column layout renders correctly
  • Content is full-width with appropriate margins
  • Navigation hamburger menu visible and functional
  • Cards/sections stack vertically
  • Touch targets are 44px+ minimum
  • Text is readable without zooming

Performance Validation

  • Page loads in < 3 seconds (core content visible)
  • CSS animations are smooth (60fps)
  • No layout shift or content jumping
  • Images optimized (if any)
  • No console errors or warnings

Accessibility Validation

  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible
  • Color contrast is sufficient (WCAG AA minimum)
  • Semantic HTML structure used
  • Form labels associated with inputs
  • Alt text for images/icons
  • Focus states visible on buttons/links

Critical Issues Found

Issue 1: Page Template Artifacts Removed

  • Severity: ✅ RESOLVED
  • Description: src/lib/pageTemplates.js was removed due to JSX syntax errors
  • Impact: All 47 page scaffolds no longer import broken module
  • Status: All pages now load without errors

Issue 2: Firebase Config Reference

  • Severity: ⚠️ NEEDS VERIFICATION
  • Description: firebase.json updated to use dist/ instead of build/
  • Impact: Build output directory must match configuration
  • Status: Configuration correct, awaiting build verification

Issue 3: GitHub Actions Workflow Fixes

  • Severity: ⚠️ NEEDS VERIFICATION
  • Description: Workflows fixed for current codebase state
  • Impact: Deployment should proceed without CI/CD failures
  • Status: All workflows updated, awaiting test run

Next Steps Before Deployment

Phase 1: Layout Implementation (High Priority)

  1. Implement landing page layouts for each provider
  2. Implement architecture/blueprint grid layouts
  3. Implement blog/feed layouts
  4. Implement form pages (Contact, etc.)
  5. Test responsive behavior at breakpoints (1200px, 768px, 375px)

Phase 2: Content & Integration (Medium Priority)

  1. Connect pages to Firestore for dynamic content
  2. Implement search/filter functionality where needed
  3. Add category-specific styling and filtering
  4. Test all navigation links

Phase 3: Refinement (Lower Priority)

  1. Add animations (entrance, hover, scroll effects)
  2. Implement loading states
  3. Add error handling and fallbacks
  4. Performance optimization (lazy loading, code splitting)

Phase 4: Pre-Launch Testing

  1. Full visual regression testing against PNG designs
  2. End-to-end testing on all major browsers
  3. Accessibility audit
  4. Performance profiling (Lighthouse)
  5. Mobile device testing

Deployment can proceed when:

  5. ✅ Manual QA sign-off completed
